It seems like every day brings a new challenge, leaving us asking again the question, “What am I going to do now?” These are difficult days. The economy is weak. The job market is non-existent. The housing market is slow. If that were not enough, health-care costs and just about everything else we need to survive and provide for our families are rising. What are we to do?
God’s people in 2 Chronicles 20 were facing their own insurmountable obstacle. Three nations were marching against them at the same time. Notice their response. The first thing they did was pray and look to God for help.
This was their prayer: The Bible says, “O our God…we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You.”
I encourage you to put your eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ and trust Him to guide you through the storms of life.
